A food desert will:

A. Have limited access to nutritious foods 

B. Foods will be unaffordable

C. Hold a lack of transportation to get to stores

D. Common in low income countries/regions

Food desserts leave adolescents and young children vulnerable to developing diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart diseases. Food deserts also leaves children at risk with its environmental impacts.

Rather than academic positions being based on excellence, there is a social class achievement gap where low-SES families fail to perform as well as high-SES families because social positions are based on the class of parents. *Performance vs. ability*

75 Percent of the surveyors agreed on the social class achievement gap to be a significant problem in schools. Half agreed to academic tracking to cause better performance and the majority think individual factors to be the most important when making interventions on the achievement gap.
