I did simulation number 13: Completing a tax return as the head of household. Form 1040A is used, and it is necessary to review the W-2 form while going through the process. The site asks questions about the dependent and yourself to make sure you are eligible and to make sure it is the right form for you.

It can get them prepared for what they might see on their future pay stub, what they have to look forward to, or encourage them to learn about their job in advance. This can then trigger them to ask questions before or during the interview, so they know what to expect financially.
